Privacy Policy for Chasing Skyler Discord Bot

Last Updated: June 2026

The Chasing Skyler Discord Bot ("the Bot") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and the communities that use it. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data the Bot accesses and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect
The Bot operates strictly as a stream notification utility. To function correctly, it collects and stores only the minimum necessary configuration data provided by server administrators:
Server and Channel IDs: To know where to send live stream notifications.
Role IDs: To ping the specific roles configured by administrators for notifications.
Streamer Usernames: The Twitch or TikTok usernames required to monitor live status.

The Bot does not read, log, harvest, or store general user messages, user profiles, or voice activity data.

2. How We Use Data
The collected configuration data is used solely to deliver automated live alerts when the connected Twitch or TikTok channels go live. We do not sell, trade, or share any Discord data with third parties.

3. Data Retention and Deletion
Configuration data is stored only for as long as the Bot is present in your server.
* If the Bot is removed (kicked/banned) from a Discord server, all configuration data related to that server is automatically deleted.
* Server administrators can request manual data deletion at any time by contacting the developer via our community channels.

4. Revisions to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect functional updates or compliance changes. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

5. Contact Us
For any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or data usage, please contact us through the official Chasing Skyler community channels or Discord server.
